Group Therapy
You are not alone in what you feel. Group therapy offers a unique space where shared vulnerability becomes a source of strength. In the presence of others navigating similar journeys, you find connection, perspective, and the courage to grow. Available online for participants in India and internationally.
How Group Therapy Works
Group therapy at Dandelion Psychotherapy is process-oriented — meaning the focus is not on teaching or lectures, but on the live experience of being in relationship with others. Yoshita facilitates the group using Transactional Analysis, helping members notice their patterns, ego states, and relational dynamics as they emerge in the room.
Groups run for a fixed duration (typically 8–12 sessions) and meet weekly at a fixed time via Google Meet. Each session is 90 minutes. Before joining, every participant has an individual screening call to ensure the group is a good fit.
The practice is Queer Affirmative — all identities, orientations, and relationship structures are welcome.
What Happens in Sessions
Small, Intentional Groups
Groups are kept small (4–8 members) to ensure everyone has space to share, be heard, and feel connected. Each group is curated around shared themes or goals.
Process-Oriented Sessions
Unlike a workshop or class, group therapy is experiential. You learn through relating — by sharing, listening, and noticing what comes up for you in the presence of others.
Witnessing & Being Witnessed
There is something profoundly healing about being seen by others in your truth. Group therapy offers the experience of being understood — not just by the therapist, but by peers who relate.
Strict Confidentiality
Everything shared in the group stays in the group. Every member commits to this agreement. The space is built on trust, safety, and mutual respect.

Who Is Group Therapy For?
Self-Awareness & Growth
You want to understand yourself better — your patterns, defenses, and relational style. Group therapy acts as a mirror, reflecting back how you show up with others.
Loneliness & Isolation
You feel disconnected or misunderstood. Group therapy offers genuine human connection — a space where you belong and where your experience is valid.
Interpersonal Challenges
You struggle with boundaries, people-pleasing, conflict avoidance, or trust. The group is a safe place to practice new ways of relating in real-time.
Alongside Individual Therapy
Group therapy complements individual work beautifully. What you explore one-on-one can be practised and integrated in the relational space of a group.
