1. Services Covered

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the following services operated by Dandelion Psychotherapy:

  • dandelion-psychotherapy.com — the primary website for Dandelion Psychotherapy, including information about services, blog content, self-assessment quizzes, and the contact form
  • therapy-manager.dandelion-psychotherapy.com — a scheduling and session management tool for therapists to view their weekly calendar and manage client appointments
  • reflect.dandelion-psychotherapy.com — a journaling and self-reflection app for clients and individuals, featuring text journaling, handwriting mode, voice entries, and breathing exercises

By accessing or using any of these services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services. By using any of the services listed above, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration

Some services (Therapy Manager and Dandelion Reflect) require you to create an account. When you register, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others
  • Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Dandelion Psychotherapy (Primary Website)

The primary website provides information about Yoshita Bhargava's therapy practice, educational blog content, self-assessment quizzes, and a contact form for enquiries. The following terms apply:

  • Content on this website is for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute medical or psychological advice
  • Self-assessment quizzes are not diagnostic tools — they are designed to encourage self-reflection and are not a substitute for professional evaluation
  • Submitting the contact form does not establish a therapist-client relationship. The relationship begins only after a mutual agreement following the introductory call
  • We reserve the right to decline to work with any prospective client if we determine the therapeutic fit is not appropriate

5. Therapy Manager

Therapy Manager is a scheduling tool for therapists. The following terms apply:

  • Access is restricted to authorized therapists associated with Dandelion Psychotherapy
  • The app integrates with Google Calendar (read-only) to display your weekly session schedule. By connecting your Google account, you authorize the app to read your calendar events for display purposes only
  • You may revoke Google Calendar access at any time from the app's Settings or from your Google Account permissions
  • Session data displayed within the app is fetched in real-time and is not stored persistently by the application
  • You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your calendar entries

6. Dandelion Reflect

Dandelion Reflect is a journaling and self-reflection app. The following terms apply:

  • Journal entries (text, handwriting, and voice) are personal content that you create and own
  • We store your journal data securely to provide the service. You may delete your entries or your entire account at any time
  • The app is a wellness tool for self-reflection — it is not a substitute for therapy or professional mental health support
  • Certain features (handwriting mode, voice journaling) may be available only to premium subscribers
  • If you are in crisis or experiencing thoughts of self-harm, please contact a crisis helpline immediately rather than journaling alone

7. Acceptable Use

When using any of our services, you agree not to:

  • Use the services for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the services or their infrastructure
  • Interfere with or disrupt the services or servers
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the services without permission

8. Intellectual Property

All content on dandelion-psychotherapy.com — including text, images, illustrations, logos, and design — is the property of Dandelion Psychotherapy and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without written permission.

Content you create within Dandelion Reflect (journal entries, drawings, voice recordings) remains your intellectual property. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely to provide the service to you.

9. Payment and Subscriptions

Certain features of Dandelion Reflect are available through paid subscriptions. If you subscribe:

  • Payment is processed through our third-party payment provider
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us if you have concerns

Therapy session fees are separate from app subscriptions and are agreed upon directly between the therapist and client during the introductory call.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dandelion Psychotherapy and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the services. Our total liability for any claim related to the services shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
