Refund Policy
Last updated: May 2026. This policy covers all subscription purchases on Dandelion Reflect and Therapy Manager.
Summary
All subscription purchases are final and non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your premium access will continue until the end of your current billing cycle. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscription purchases made on the following services operated by Dandelion Psychotherapy:
- Dandelion Reflect (reflect.dandelion-psychotherapy.com) — premium journaling features including handwriting mode, voice journaling, and advanced analytics
- Therapy Manager (therapy-manager.dandelion-psychotherapy.com) — premium scheduling and practice management features for therapists
This policy does not apply to therapy session fees, which are agreed upon separately between the therapist and client.
2. No Refunds
All subscription purchases are final and non-refundable. Once a subscription payment has been processed, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Change of mind after subscribing
- Failure to use the premium features during the billing period
- Dissatisfaction with the features or functionality
- Accidental or duplicate purchases
- Downgrade requests mid-cycle
By completing a subscription purchase, you acknowledge and agree that no refund will be provided for any reason.
3. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel:
- Your premium access will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle
- You will not be charged for any subsequent billing periods after cancellation
- No partial or prorated refunds will be issued for the remaining days in your current billing cycle
- You may continue to use all premium features until the expiry date of your current period
- After the billing cycle ends, your account will revert to the free tier with access to basic features only
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period in which it is requested — not immediately. This means you retain full access to premium features for the remainder of the time you have already paid for.
4. How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription through the following methods:
- Dandelion Reflect — navigate to Settings within the app and select "Manage Subscription" to cancel
- Therapy Manager — navigate to Settings within the app and select "Manage Subscription" to cancel
Upon successful cancellation, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive this confirmation, please contact us to verify that your cancellation has been processed.
5. Free Trial
If a free trial period is offered and you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and you will be charged at the applicable subscription rate. No refund will be issued for the first charge if you fail to cancel during the trial period.
6. Pricing Changes
We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing at any time. If the price of your subscription increases:
- You will be notified in advance before your next billing cycle
- The new price will take effect from the next billing cycle after notification
- If you do not agree with the new pricing, you may cancel your subscription before the new rate applies
7. Service Discontinuation
In the unlikely event that we permanently discontinue a paid service:
- We will provide reasonable advance notice to all active subscribers
- Active subscriptions will not be renewed after the discontinuation date
- A prorated refund may be issued at our sole discretion for any prepaid period that extends beyond the discontinuation date
This is the only circumstance under which a refund may be considered.
8. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to:
- Immediately suspend or terminate your account and access to all services
- Contest the chargeback with supporting evidence of the transaction and this policy
- Recover any associated fees or costs resulting from the dispute
We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating any payment dispute so that we can attempt to resolve the issue.
9. Exceptions
In exceptional cases (such as being charged due to a verified technical error on our end), you may contact us to request a review. Any resolution in such cases is entirely at our discretion and does not establish a precedent for future requests.
10. Payment Processor
All subscription payments are processed securely through our third-party payment gateway. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers. By subscribing, you also agree to the payment processor's terms of service.
